“A live five-piece band is performing and the actors are singing songs from such ‘80s bands and performers as Guns ‘N Roses, Poison, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Quiet Riot and Journey.
The wall of sound they create is delivered by a fine company of players and musicians. The result is a first-rate production of an extremely entertaining show.” - The Florida Times-Union
Danielle Marie Gonzalez, Justin Colombo and Dominique Scott
“If you see anyone walking around over the next several days throwing up the heavy metal horns hand signal or belting out any number of classic ‘80s rock songs, it’s because Portland Ovations had the wisdom to bring the Tony Award-winning musical “Rock of Ages” to Merrill Auditorium on Saturday night.” - Portland Press Herald
The performers in this American touring production are talented, dynamic and smoothly professional….But it’s Amma Osei as the strip-club mama who has the truly show-stopping voice.
We don’t get nearly enough of Amma Osei… She is the real deal—a singer whose voice and presence demand attention.”
While performing in Spokane, Washington at the INB Performing Arts Center, touring show company members are asked to please stop by to get a picture with Dave Brucick on the rail. Our ladies complied - ROCK OF AGES style!!!

"The musical “Rock of Ages'' had a landslide victory as it opened a five-performance run Friday night at The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts.
“Rock of Ages” is good looking and very sexy (and yes, there is a PG-13 advisory). A nearly sold out audience of 2,000 people were on their feet at the end of the end of the show's two-and-a-half hour “Journey” Friday clapping along to what has become a great and enduring anthem, “Don't Stop Believin' ” The scene looked like a victory party.
It is a breath of fresh air to see a relatively new show — “Rock of Ages” opened on Broadway in 2009 — come across so well and with such energy and conviction"
-Worcester, Mass Telegram
"You MUST see it live. "Rock of Ages" soars with visual treats, sonic pleasures and pure fun. Nolan - as washed-up rocker Stacee Jaxx - radiates charisma (or is that his sparkling costume?) He rocks Slade song "Come On Feel the Noize" and feels larger than life any time he's on the stage. Amma Osei (Justice) wows the crowd with a powerhouse voice and a "Harden My Heart/Shadows of the Night" mashup. Her solo parts on "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" will make you believe the song should be sung by a diva."
“Rock of Ages,” in fact, may be the most fun Iʼve ever had in the theater. This gloriously lusty, irreverent party never lets up. The rock band smokes, the actors thrill, and the dancing is – well – awesome. “Rock of Ages” feels more like the best concert youʼ ve ever seen, bursting with energy and the occasional singing into bathroom plungers and broomsticks. The acting is campy and over-the-top, and the voices are leather- lunged and righteous.

Director Kristin Hanggi paid a visit to the ROA company in New Orleans where critics said:
'Rock of Ages' rocks the house at Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans"
"Neither rock nor theater fans will be disappointed. Bring your lighters for the power ballad."
"This five-time Tony-nominated musical has it all; awesome ‘80s music, a live band, outrageous costumes and great timing. Grab your friends, and re-live the rock!"
"Better than on Broadway because of its killer cast"
- Philadelphia Inquirer
"Top talent helps 'Ages" Rock on!"
- Durham News Observer
"The acting and singing are spectacular"
- The Brown Daily Herald
"The show’s blazing finale, when the talented cast and a pulsing five-piece band belt out "Don’t Stop Believin’," was definitely worth the price of admission."
- Providence Journal
"Columbo is top-rate as the amusing Lonny, a true rocker with a gentle side. He’s lewd and crude, and often flat-out funny as he drops the fourth wall to draw the audience into the show."
"Lead guitarist Chris Cicchino often steals the show, spinning out awesome solo riffs. And there are some real solid singers among the cast, including Dominique Scott's Drew and Matt Nolan, who plays the self-absorbed Stacee, who tries to get Sherrie fired after having sex with her in the men’s room of the Bourbon Room. Both Scott and Nolan are rock band material."
- Providence Journal
